「數學思維大激鬥2023」完滿結束 參賽人數創歷年新高 首設環保教育攤位及舊衣玩具回收站 鼓勵學生活用數理解難能力 實踐綠色生活 （2023年3月20日．香港） MathConcept年度大型盛事「數學思維大激鬥2023」於昨日完滿結束。大會公布今年香港賽區吸引了逾250間學校及6,000名學生參加，至於澳門賽區亦有超過3,000名學生參與，當中包括英華書院、香港真光書院、香港培正小學等均有派員參與，參賽人數創歷年新高！比賽旨在鼓勵莘莘學子把數學融入生活，並提高他們對數學的興趣，有見及此，今年「數學思維大激鬥2023」更破天荒與環保機構「碧瑤．愛回收」及「環保社區慈善基金會EPC」合作，於場內設置環保教育攤位及舊衣及玩具回收站，希望學生可活用數學思維/解難能力，學習回收及做到源頭減廢，實踐綠色生活，了解更多有關環保資訊。 參賽人數創歷年新高 與往年相比上升43.5% 由資深數學教學專家創辦、致力為一眾學生提供專業及全面的數學培訓的MathConcept Education深信每個孩子皆擁有無限可能，由2016年起每年均會舉辦「數學思維大激鬥」比賽予幼稚園低班（K2）至高中學生參加，雲集全港的數學高手切磋競技，讓學生們知己知彼，並從錯誤中學習。本年參賽人數創新高，MathConcept比賽項目總監衞紓淇表示：「本校教學理念致力於啟發孩子的數學潛能，而舉辦『數學思維大激鬥』可以讓一眾學生學以致用，將平日課堂上學習的技能實踐，從中可以了解到自己的強弱項，並建立自信及提高心理質素，而本年亦有幸見到同學踴躍參與，參加個人賽的人數與往年比較上升了43.5%，派隊參與校際賽的港澳中小學亦較往年上升42.9%，各界對活動的熱烈反應令人鼓舞。」而參加學生亦對比賽充滿信心，就讀國際英文幼稚園（St. Catherine’s International Kindergarten）K2的林文熙指：「眾多科目及興趣班中最喜歡就是數學，平日亦會應用簡單的運算於超市購物，將數學融入生活，希望參加比賽可以挑戰一下自己，希望從錯誤中學習，促使自己進步。」另外，就讀York International Kindergarten K2的張少煊家長張太則表示：「第一次帶兒子參加大型數學比賽，他對於數字很敏感而且很有天賦，平日最喜歡觀看YouTube 有關數學的視頻，希望他參加比賽以增強自信，並向此方面發展。」 首次引入環保元素 冀學生明白環保、數理均與生活息息相關 此外，今屆「數學思維大激鬥」更首次融入環保元素，希望一眾學生能夠學習課本上的知識，並從日常生活上做起源頭減廢，本屆首次邀請了環保機構「碧瑤．愛回收」及「環保社區慈善基金會EPC」，分別舉辦環保教育攤位及設置舊衣及玩具回收站，除了讓學生切身處地感受「惜物」及學懂「分享」外，MathConcept比賽項目總監衞紓淇亦希望學生明白數理、環保與生活均是密切的一環，缺一不可，若能夠活用數理解難能力以實踐綠色生活例如計算碳排放，甚至利用科學研發環保技術等，均是環環緊扣，若學生能夠預早了解環保及數學的關係，必定能將兩者發揮至極致。就讀保良局陳南昌夫人小學的小五學生、數學成績全級第二的林浩宏參加環保攤位後認為是次活動別具意義：「平日數學成績不俗，而自己平日亦有實踐回收分類及種植，每次見到種植成果都會與姐姐分享喜悅，是次活動亦讓我對環保更有概念，希望將來可以學習更多有關環保及數學的關係，為環境出一分力。」 媒體報道 [AM730 – 3月21日] 「數學思維大激鬥2023」昨舉行 吸引近萬港澳學生參加 https://www.am730.com.hk/%E6%9C%AC%E5%9C%B0/-%E6%95%B8%E5%AD%B8%E6%80%9D%E7%B6%AD%E5%A4%A7%E6%BF%80%E9%AC%A52023-%E6%98%A8%E8%88%89%E8%A1%8C-%E5%90%B8%E5%BC%95%E8%BF%91%E8%90%AC%E6%B8%AF%E6%BE%B3%E5%AD%B8%E7%94%9F%E5%8F%83%E5%8A%A0/367275 [Timable …
